HY-LC gear type hydraulic oil flowmeter, also known as volumetric flowmeter, is a type of flowmeter with high accuracy. Using mechanical measuring elements to continuously divide the fluid into several known volume parts, the total flow volume is measured based on the number of times the measuring chamber sequentially and repeatedly fills and discharges this volume part of the fluid. The HY-LC elliptical gear flowmeter can be made of different materials (cast steel, stainless steel, and 316) and is suitable for flow measurement in industrial sectors such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, power, metallurgy, and food.
The HY-LC gear type hydraulic oil flowmeter consists of a flow transmitter and a counting mechanism. Installing a radiator between the transmitter and the counting mechanism constitutes a high-temperature flowmeter. The transmitter consists of a measuring chamber equipped with a pair of elliptical gear rotors and a sealed coupling, while the counting mechanism includes a reduction mechanism, an adjusting mechanism, a counter, and a transmitter.
The measuring room is composed of a pair of elliptical gears and a cover plate to form a crescent shaped cavity as the unit of measurement for flow rate. The elliptical gear rotates by the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the flowmeter, continuously measuring the liquid through the crescent shaped cavity and delivering it to the outlet. The liquid flowing through each rotation is four times that of the crescent shaped cavity. The total number of rotations and the speed of rotation of the elliptical gear are transmitted to the counting mechanism or transmitter through a sealed coupling, which can determine the total amount and instantaneous flow rate of liquid passing through the pipeline.
1. Flow measurement is independent of the flow state of the fluid and has a wide measurement range.
2. The higher the viscosity of the medium, the smaller the amount of leakage from the gear and measuring space gap. Therefore, the larger the viscosity of the measured medium, the smaller the leakage error, and the more advantageous it is for measurement.
3. The elliptical gear flowmeter has high measurement accuracy and is suitable for measuring the flow rate of high viscosity media.
4. There is no need for straight pipe sections before and after the flowmeter, even if the flowmeter is close to valves, bends, reducers, or expanders, there is no need to install straight pipe sections.
5. High measurement accuracy: 0.2 and 0.5 levels.
6. It can measure various oils and non corrosive liquid media for cast iron.
